VP Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Social Impact at Mutual of Omaha in Butlerville, IN

As a key leader of our Social Impact team, provides consultation, expertise and support in the development and execution of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy and programs across the enterprise. Collaborate to integrate diversity and inclusion into talent management and business unit workplace practices and strategies. Work in partnership with employee-led groups and an outside network of professionals to identify DEI best practices that align with the corporation's social impact strategy.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design, implement and govern enterprise diversity and inclusion strategy, policies, programs and initiatives by guiding and collaborating with business leaders across the organization to advance the diversity of our workforce and strengthen our inclusive work environment. Recognize and respond to needs, issues and initiatives with appropriate DEI tools, strategic assessments/metrics, best practices and benchmark data to support the needs of the business. Actively participate and partner with community and affiliative organizations to support those needs. Influence and educate leadership on DEI initiatives and strategies including emerging trends, best practices and developments in DEI. Prepare reports and deliver routine updates for Executive level management and other key stakeholders. Develop diversity and inclusion educational curriculum, strategies, training, coaching and development, metrics and tools to ensure the effectiveness and alignment to the overall diversity and inclusion strategy. Provide oversight of the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other DEI related employee-led groups to ensure they have a common operating framework and that their activities support business strategy. Promote business planning among the ERGs, oversee budget requests, assist with communications, track and review metrics and results. Collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with the talent acquisition team and other HR partners, Law Operation, procurement, marketing, business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure DEI programs are aligned, integrated, effectively communicated and support the attainment of corporate goals and objectives. Oversee and champion operational excellence change activities of the department and divisional functions by providing proactive and innovative solutions to address business or service challenges. Lead and manage the development of the business case, desired outcomes, accurate scope, defined roles and decision-making authority. Create measures, tools and/or systems to support the transformational activities and initiatives and monitor results to ensure the transformation efforts create value, improve efficiencies of functions/processes and drive positive outcomes. Develop and maintain an engaged and accountable workforce. Develop and maintain a fair and equitable working environment. ABOUT YOU:
Business knowledge of and experience with the diversity, equity and inclusion functions to include recruitment and compliance activities. Ability to analyze data and recommend actionable improvements to current business needs using appropriate and varied interventions. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and the general public. Ability to maintain effective performance under conditions such as pressure of tight deadlines, rigorous questioning of their work and opposition and criticism from parties disagreeing with proposals or recommendations. Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills. Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Leadership skills that include sound judgment, initiative and coaching to foster the development of others. You help promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the department and the larger organization. You value different ideas and opinions. You listen courageously and remain curious in all that you do. You are able to work remotely and have access to high-speed internet. Ability to travel up to 10%. VALUABLE
Experience:
CBP, CCP, CEBS, PHR, SPHR designations or demonstrated progress towards such designations.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, Organization Development & TrainingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
